Auto or Car Loan

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Terje_Ellingsen]Terje Ellingsen An auto or car loan is necessary for most people when they buy a new or used vehicle. Shopping for a car loan can be done many places today, including online. Many companies send you a check for the loan amount and you can simply make this check payable to the auto dealer or car seller. This is all you have to do to get the keys to your new or used car. There are some lending companies that are really doing their best to offer you a great auto loan. Good lenders always have a friendly and professional customer service, regardless of your credit rating. Be aware though that the best rates are for customers with a high credit score. Wherever you apply for a loan, it is subject to credit approval, which means that your credit rate will be checked. Many companies offer an introductory annual percentage rate, which are changed after 30 or 45 days. However, what you should look for is the long term interest rate, because this is the basis of comparisons between offers from different vehicle loan lenders. You should choose the lender with the lowest annual percentage interest rate, all other conditions equal. Another thing to look for in addition to the interest rate is if and which fees are associated with your auto loan. Many credit companies add lots of different types of loan fees like payment fees, annual fees, penalties, etc. These fees should also be included in the basis you use for comparing lenders. If the interest rate is low but are eaten up by layers of fees, you have to look closer at the offer. In all circumstances it is the total cost of the loan you should compare because this is what you pay for it. Once you submit your car loan application online, it will be reviewed by the lending company and you will receive a response within a few minutes during business hours. If you apply during non-business hours, your loan application will normally be processed the next business day. It’s really easy to shop a car loan on the internet. Pure Water – Alkaline Water

By Arokiasami P. Durai Ever dreamt of trekking into the high mountains, putting your hands into the crystalline blue glacial water that gushes forth through the rocks? Of drinking the pristinely pure cool water so refreshing and life giving, with the sweetness of minerals and the lightness of fairies? Now the water ionizers promise us the same experience in your own home or workplace. For ages, man has suffered from acidity. Its effects are digestive problems, ulcers, low energy, fatigue, vulnerability to cold and even obesity. (An acid tongue or acid humour, however, may not be connected except by a long shot!) The cause of acidity is the imbalance in alkaline-acid level in body fluids. The cure is drinking of alkaline water to restore the balance. The human body does possess a self-regulatory mechanism through some proteins, minerals and kidney and lung functions. Even through breathing, we inhale alkaline oxygen and exhale acidic carbon dioxide. Forgive us our excesses But our food habits are not exactly tuned to keep the balance in our system. French fries, carbonated beverages, alcohol, coffee, refined sugar or flour, high protein meat / dairy products, all of which we enjoy so much create residues of acid which the body cells cannot handle. Stress, worries, tensions, illnesses and extremely demanding physical exercises add to secretion of acids upsetting the balance. When acidity level in the body rises abnormally, the body becomes a playground for bacteria that attack cells and leave behind toxins. An overload of toxins in the body again weakens its resistance to diseases and hastens the ageing process. The pH indicators Science has invented a scale to gauge the alkaline-acid balance in the human body. It is known as pH. It has nothing to do with photography. It is derived from the French Pouvoire Hydrogene an indicator of hydrogen ion activity. It employs a count of 1 to 14. At 1 is the highest acidity level, 7 is the state of balance (neutral) and 14 is the highest alkaline level. Our entire body structure seems to be floating in water, considering that more than seventy percent of it is composed of water. We need to drink at least 3-4 litres of alkaline water daily to replenish the losses and to ensure that all acid is neutralized and that there is enough water to carry nutrients and minerals to the cells. All this focuses on the need to use alkaline drinking water for our daily consumption. Doctors advise an alkaline level of pH 9 to 10 in the water that we drink. What happens in a water ionizer? The first part of the process eliminates a major portion of both organic and inorganic contaminants. This is done using silver impregnated carbon to make sure that the filtration process eradicates as many harmful compounds as possible, leaving a water that is filtered ready for ionization. The water ionizer then ionizes the water in a compartment that contains a number of electrodes that are negatively charged, which attracts the positive ions in your water. This water is loaded with negative ions, therefore turning it into alkaline water, which has wide ranging health benefits. Alkaline ionized water is very beneficial and healthy for us because it assists our bodys pH to gradually move down to the optimal pH, which is a little alkaline. Among many other benefits, increased alkalinity of the water assists the body to eliminate toxins that accumulate within our body. Four streams of water for your use There are well known brands like Aquasana water filters that have kitchen countertop and whole house models besides a shower filter model. If you wish, you could go in for alkaline water machines that break up your tap water into four streams. 1. An Alkaline based drinking water This causes an antioxidant effect and eliminates disease causing toxins (free radicals) helps with acidosis type conditions helps balance an acidic diet 2. An astringent water great for hair and skin care 3. A strong acidic water powerful antimicrobial water 4. A Strong Alkaline water great for cleaning and removing organic matter from surfaces Ode to alkaline water Man pollutes water and water machines restore it to health and gift it to man again. Today your health depends on them. Green Tea: The Japanese Secret to Good Health

By Jon Stout Cancer remains a number-one killer in countries around the world. Therefore, it should come as little surprise that medical researchers are exploring new avenues in an effort to find ways to attack cancer. The investigation into alternative cancer therapies often begins by examining the cultures of specific nations in an effort to determine whether diet or other customs could help unlock the secret to curing this dreaded disease. Since green tea has been a staple of the Japanese diet for centuries, its not surprising that new attention is being paid to the teas therapeutic benefits. In recent years, doctors and scientific researchers have been focusing new attention on the idea of drinking green tea in an effort to keep cancer at bay. Its been thought that the beverage possesses certain natural properties which make it a likely cancer preventative. Studying Green Tea In-Depth In order to look at this issue in more depth, researchers Kazue Imai, Kenji Suga, and Kei Nakachi of the Saitama Cancer Center Research Institute in Saitama, Japan, decided to examine the effects of green tea drinking among the Japanese. In an article entitled Cancer-Preventive Effects of Drinking Green Tea Among a Japanese Population in Preventative Medicine magazine, the research team explored the therapeutic benefits of green tea at length. When the researchers began their investigation, there had been a number of studies indicating that the main ingredient of green tea, epigallocatechin gallate, or EGCG, was anti-carcinogenic. However, there was little evidence to suggest that EGCG could prevent cancer in human beings. While some human studies had been conducted, the results were far from conclusive. The Japanese research team strongly believed that it was absolutely critical to conduct an in-depth study in an Asian nation, given the popularity of tea consumption in the Orient. Ultimately, the Japanese scientists found that those Japanese subjects who drank green tea were less likely to develop cancer. This was particularly true among women who consumed more than ten cups of green tea each day. A Natural Cancer Prevention Tool The rate of cancer was low among both men and women who consumed large amounts of green tea. In addition, a study of 384 cancer patients indicated that increased consumption of green tea was linked with a delay in the onset of cancer. Again, this phenomenon was most prevalent among women who consumed more than ten cups of green tea each day. The average delay for the onset of cancer was four yearsfour years of enhanced quality of life for the subjects involved. To a Western mind, drinking ten cups of green tea daily can seem mind-bogglingespecially if one has difficulty consuming eight glasses of water each day. It should be noted that, on average, the subjects were probably consuming 150 ml of green tea per cup. That would amount to about 300 to 400 milligrams of EGCGa healthy amount, by any standard. More Powerful Than Once Thought It has become clear that green tea is far more powerful in fighting cancer than researchers once thought. For instance, scientists recently discovered that green teas unique chemical makeup enables it to combat one of the key cancer-causing molecules linked to tobacco use. The ground-breaking evidence appeared in a journal published by the American Chemical Society. In the study, researchers examined the effects of two components of green tea, EGCG and epigallocatechin, also known as EGC. These substances are close to the consistency of cancer-preventing substances in red wine, grapes, broccoli, and cabbage. The research team discovered that EGCG and EGC can inhibit a molecule that often turns on genes that can be harmful to the body, leading to the development of cancer. However, its unclear whether the results in the science lab could be replicated in a persons home, since the effectiveness of drinking green tea depends on how the beverage is used by the human body. In addition, there appear to be differences between varieties of green tea, so additional study is necessary to prove the beverages effectiveness in inhibiting potentially harmful molecular processes. The Need for More Research Based upon the evidence presented in the study conducted by Imai, Suga, and Nakachi, there can be little doubt that their research indicates that consuming green tea can lead to the prevention of cancer. However, additional research is definitely needed in order to determine which organs of the body could best benefit from green tea. In other words, will drinking green tea fight stomach cancer? Breast cancer? Colon cancer? At this point, the answers to these questions remain unclear. Yet, it should be noted that laboratory tests show that green teas EGCG can zero in on organs in an effort to prevent cancer. The initial research into cancer prevention using green tea is incredibly encouraging. To begin with, green tea is an ordinary part of many peoples diets, so drinking the beverage does not necessarily mean a radical lifestyle change. If people are already accustomed to consuming green tea, it stands to reason that they wouldnt mind consuming more of it, if it would mean preventing the occurrence of cancer. A Virtually Problem-Free Solution Some approaches to preventing cancer may seem initially appealing, but can become decidedly less so because of the side effects involved. However, there are no toxic effects linked to green tea consumption, meaning that this cancer-fighting remedy is especially promising. In addition, green tea appears to be a powerful cancer prevention tool. If the beverages therapeutic effects were limited, there wouldnt be a great deal of interest in using it as a cancer preventative. However, the strong link between green tea consumption and cancer prevention indicated by the Japanese study means that there is good reason for people to consider adding green tea to their diets. Effects Beyond the Orient Some might conclude that green tea drinking only prevents cancer among Asian populations, but researchers in the field believe that would be a mistake. Its entirely possible that, if Westerners also made green tea a significant part of their daily diet, they would also see the preventative effects. With so many supermarkets and convenience stores in the West now stocking green tea, it may be just a matter of time before Westerners will also experience the beverages medicinal benefits. Jon M. How To Lose Weight Naturally

By Dawn H Robertshaw Short of quitting smoking, weight loss is probably the single most important factor determining the quality and duration of your life. Weight loss is often treated as a quick fix or short-term goal. The key to successful weight loss is making changes in your eating and physical activity habits that you can keep up for the rest of your life. The first step needed in natural weight loss is to adapt to new eating habits and to not rely on diet drugs. Today diet and weight loss is successfully achieved through a change of lifestyle and eating habits rather than a two week quick fix. Make sure that you eat a well balanced diet: Eat at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. Remember, a glass of fruit juice counts towards your recommended daily allowance. Choose a variety of lean meat, poultry and fish, these are all good sources of protein. Nuts, seeds and pulses are a good source of fiber. Avoid eating deep fried foods as they are high in fat and low in nutrients. Use alternative ways of cooking your food, for example boiling, grilling, poaching. Opt for low-fat or fat-free foods. Allow yourself a treat occasionally. Follow a calorie-reduced, but balanced diet that provides for as little as one or two pounds of weight loss a week. paycheck income tax estimator getting a home equity loan with poor credit guaranteed cash loans texas bad credit bankruptcy car loan

Attracting New Customers To Your New Catering Business

By Lydia Quinn So you have set up your dream catering business? How do you go about getting new customers? Here are a few tips: Website Your catering business should have its own website complete with sample menus, customer testimonials and references, pictures of some of your presentations, pictures of your food and, of course, all of your contact information. You can also advertise your website on the Internet through pay per click ads, search engine optimization for appropriate localized phrases and advertise on local community websites. Wedding Directories Some of the biggest customers for catering companies are wedding receptions. Get your ad or pitch in front of brides, grooms and wedding planners. You can advertise in local wedding newsletters, newspaper sections and magazines. Advertise online by getting listed in every major wedding directory, some may require a fee, but if they have good traffic to their directory, the ad should pay for itself many times over in new customers. Partnering Establish good relationships with wedding planners, florists, party stores etc. Once you have done a good job for one wedding planner, for instance, they will send you more business in the future. You can even give discounts to wedding planners who recommend your services, this further increases the chances of them recommending your catering business in the future. Word Of Mouth Word of mouth is one of the best ways to expand your business. When you have done a stellar job serving one wedding event, the people at the wedding will remember your food and may think of your business for their own weddings, parties and other events. Good PR Also under the category of word of mouth is good PR, or public relations. Send out press releases, try to get a feature article in the local food section, contribute articles to food and catering related magazines and newspapers. Do a great job at every event you cater so people will remember your company. Flyers Distribute flyers in your community and to local businesses. Businesses often have parties for birthdays, company anniversaries, company picnics and holiday parties, and they usually will need a caterer for these events. Yellow Pages Despite the ubiquitousness of the Internet these days, many people still rely on the yellow pages to find businesses in their community. Make sure to place your ad in the caterers section of your local yellow pages, it’s well worth the cost. Using these tips, you should be able to attract new customers to your catering business to keep it prospering for many years to come. Do Not Starve Yourself To Lose Weight

By Antonio T With every introduction to spring and summer comes something that’s as common to the seasons as flowers and sunshine. That something is the hopes of millions and millions of people seeking help to shed the pounds they’ve gained during the cold and miserable months of the winter to get ready to flash their bathing suits for the summer. The season were sales sore for fat burners, fad diet books, abdominal crunchers, and whatever other products claiming to give you a beach body in six weeks. Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed a horrible mindset most people new to weight loss have. It became quite obvious to me while helping some of my friends seeking aid in weight loss. Almost every conversation starts by them asking me for help and me going over the principles and basics to lose weight in a healthy way. Soon after my explanation I’m greeted with the dreaded “This is all too hard, I’ll just eat less.” Are you kidding me? I can’t blame them though, because it’s how a good portion of society thinks when dealing with weight loss. This is the mindset that gives the word “diet” a bad name. It’s the reason why so many people aim to lose weight and end up crashing. Now, I know I’m not too good at writing articles yet but I’ve thrown together some information to share with those new to eating healthy and eating right. Hopefully when you’re done reading this, you’ll stay away from that new obscure diet that wants you to consume 2 peas and a carrot for the day. It’s important that you remember that the less you consume, the less your body burns. When calories are restricted your metabolism decreases anywhere from 20% to 45%! Does that sound like a reasonable way to lose weight? It also explains why the longer you’re on a low calorie diet the less likely you are to lose weight. No matter how low you restrict your calories. This is one of the reasons why people end up crashing on fad diets that severely restrict calories. Many people believe that low calorie diets are the way to go because they produced a great amount of weight loss in a short period of time. Sadly, they are unaware of what goes on behind the scenes. There are several factors that go into a human losing weight when they’re heavily restricting calories. One of those factors is something called gluconeogenesis. Gluco-what? Don’t worry, I’ll explain. Gluconeogenesis is basically a process your body uses when it needs energy and isn’t getting enough food to meet its glucose needs. Normally your body relies on the food you eat for its source. However, when it doesn’t’t have enough food in it to start converting to glucose it starts looking for other sources. One of the primary sources it turns to are the amino acids that are derived from muscle tissue. That’s right; some of that weight you lossed isn’t just from fat. It’s also from muscle. Losing muscle while trying to lose body fat is probably one of the most counterproductive things someone could possibly do considering how important muscle is to having a good metabolism. The loss of muscle glycogen also causes you to fatigue easier which makes it difficult to want to do any exercise. Another part of the weight that was lost comes from water weight. When glycogen stores are depleted in your muscle and liver you dehydrate your body. When it’s all said and done, all that weight you lost was hardly even from fat. Aside from making your body consume muscle, low calorie diets do a few other things to. A good example is an enzyme called lipoprotein lipase. It’s the body’s biggest fat storing enzyme. When your calories drop too low, your body produces more of this enzyme as a sort of a survival technique. The body believes that you are starving so it takes measures to ensure that you have enough energy. That energy comes in the form of more stored fat. The bottom line is you need to eat. The only thing you’re doing to your body by going on severe calorie restrictions is ruining it. When you finally crash off of the diet you’re left with a body with a slow metabolism and primed for storing more fat. The same calorie maintenance level you’ve had before the diet is now recognized as a calories surplus by your body because of the way it has adapted to survive. What does that mean? It means you’re going to gain your weight back a lot quicker once you go off the diet. With each crash diet effort, you’re making your body less efficient. Why would you want to do that? Temporary diets yield temporary results. If you were eating right through out the year in the first place you wouldn’t’t have to worry about dropping that much fat for the summer. What’s that? You want to lose weight the right way now? Sure, let me explain. Now it’s obvious that the only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume. The trick is to give your body enough calories for it to function properly and to combine weight training and cardio to take care of the rest. The first thing you need to do in order to do that is to find your caloric maintenance level. A maintenance level is the amount of calories your body needs to maintain its current weight. A surplus is the amount of calories your body needs to gain weight and a deficit is the amount needed to lose weight. Once you find out your maintenance level, you’re going to calculate your deficit level. A good guideline for setting a caloric deficit is to lower your daily intake from 15% to 20% of your maintenance level. I’d start out at 15% to see how your body responds to it. If you aren’t losing weight, drop it to 20%. I wouldn’t go much below 20% though and by lose weight I don’t mean 9-10lbs a week. You should be aiming for 1 to 2lbs of weight loss per week. If you’re losing more than 2 pounds a week, chances are that some of that is muscle. The best way to approach fat loss is to use exercise to burn fat, not use some diet to starve it. Remember, losing weight is probably the easiest thing someone can do. Losing weight the right way without losing muscle and ruining your body is a much harder yet much rewarding challenge. Good luck! Payday Loans: An Overview – Part Two

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Mark_Tamwood]Mark Tamwood Payday loans are available at your local cash advance storemost major cities in North America, for example, are littered with many different places that lend short-term loans for the average consumer. You can also apply for a payday loan over the phone if you prefer. In addition, if you have internet access, applying for a payday loan online is becoming more popular as it is usually both a very convenient as well as secure method of application. How does a payday loan work? Basically, when you apply, you have to provide information that confirms you have a steady jobhow long youve had the job and how much money you make per week or per month will sometimes affect how much you can borrow or even whether you will be approved. For example, at www.paycheck-cash.com, you need to have worked at your current job for at least 90 days and you need to be making at least $1000 US a month after taxes. Further, you need to confirm you have a valid checking account in whatever country you are applying for a loan. Once you are approved for the amount that you have requested, you write a check that covers the amount borrowed plus the fee (for example, a $345 check for borrowing $300) and the $300 is automatically deposited into your account, usually within 24 hours. The check is held by the loan lender until your next pay day. At this point you have the option of allowing them to deposit the check or rolling over (extending) your loan, which will incur another fee, and can get quite expensive. There is one major drawback of payday loans, and that is the high interest rates. As shown in the example above, a typical loan of $300 can cost around $45sometimes more. If you are responsible and pay it off on time, though, and dont roll over the loan, this seemingly high upfront cost can be worth it if its helping you through a financial bindand can more than pay for itself if it helps you avoid major fees for bounced checks. Wild Flowers

By Alison Cole Wild flowers are Natures miracle of miracles. They bring color, perfume, and distinction to the diverse environments in which they grow. Wildflowers, however, can be as ecologically devastating as they are beautiful. Some wildflowers are native to the countries in which they are found. Others are migratory transplants, introduced either accidentally or purposefully into new landscapes. Wildflowers are often ecological opportunists, capable of proliferating in a wide variety of environments, sometimes at the expense of less-hardy indigenous plant species. The rate of multiplication of wildflowers is affected by the latitude, soil composition, heat, and moisture of their environments. Even sunburnt plots and gravelly highways can be home to these rugged species. There are perennial, biennial, and season wildflower species. They come in shades of green, purple, pink, red, blue, yellow, orange, lavender and white. Always a treat to the eye, some are carnivorous insect eaters while others are poisonous to livestock. Wild flower juices have been used for a variety of medicinal purposes by Native Americans, gypsies, and Australian aborigines. Fever, bronchitis, enlarged livers, ulcers, intestinal worms, allergies, cramps have traditionally been fought with wild flowers. To this day, science seeks to unravel their many closely held secrets that might help us fight cancer, high blood pressure, asthma, and arthritis. Wildflowers have also been made into dyes, insect repellants, sunburn ointments, and cooking accoutrements. Cooked as greens, brewed as substitutes for tea/coffee, or consumed as jams, jellies, syrups, or wines–wild flower varieties cover the gamut. Naturalists, scientists, doctors, gardeners or besotted flower enthusiasts . . . wildflowers have them all enthralled! Spend few moments to analyze and understand who you are. Are you a serious type of a person? Go getter? Cheerleader? Understand your own personality and try to express it clearly in your personal ad. Look at your primary desires – This is very important guys. Ive seen many people posting personals just because their friends are do so and it is an in thing to lie on the net and cheat on some unsuspecting soul. Avoid this mistake at all costs. Next time you might be the pray! Instead, identify your true desires and prioritize them. Put down the main and important ones in your personal ad. This will attract matching profiles much faster. Identify key aspects of your partner – When you know who you are and what your desires are, next question is what you expect from your partner. Many personals I have come across only concentrate and elaborate on what they expect from the partner. I advise you to be straight about what you expect from your partner and be generous. Measuring Our Metabolism

By James Penn Advertising has been strong when it comes to losing weight products and services. Through this medium, people are becoming more interested and captivated with the promises and the assurances these ads hold. In this modern world, everything that meets the eye is marketable- sad to say. We need not carried away with these commercials. Increasing your metabolism is the best means of doing so. You just need your self, and a little help from outside factors. The first step is to measure your metabolism. How do we measure metabolism? A metabolic test comes in two ways. The first method is direct calorimetry. This method measures the energy expended in the form of heat. The other one is indirect calorimetry, it measures the amount of oxygen consumed over a period of time. Traditionally used in hospital and research facilities due to the cost of the machine and the need for trained technicians. What are the needed preparations for the test? The aim of the test is to gauge the RMR or the Resting Metabolic Rate of an individual. Therefore, he or she needs to avoid eating a meal 1 and a half hours before the test, avoid exercising on the day of your test and avoid the use of stimulants such as caffeine on the day of the test. What happens in the testing bed? You will relax in a seated position; the doctor will ask you to do this. A mask or mouthpiece would be used and you have to breathe in there for ten to fifteen minutes. A report after the test would be printed out by the machine. The most important part is that you discuss the results with the doctor in order to come up with the next steps for your diet plans. Would the test results be useful for good? No. You have to retest after some time. Your RMR and your total metabolism changes through time. Change in any element of your lifestyle would directly affect the result. For you to keep a track of your metabolic rate, seek help from a doctor.
